We see 3 or floor socks crawling around on a carpet with caterpillar-like motion. We zoom a little and our focus just follows one as it picks its way along the carpet and finds a pair of boxer shorts.

It proceeds to eat the boxer shorts – with the noise that often accompanies caterpillars eating leaves in nature documentaries.

We follow it as it crawls under a bed.

Time-lapse: night falls, and then dawn breaks.

From inside the sock emerges a brightly coloured tie-dye t-shirt. It flutters out of the window.
